Next Issue
---------
Well next issue is due out around July 1st. But please allow for
a few days delay.
Well what will you find in the next edition i hear you cry? Well
we will have the second part of our beginners section, in which
i will be beginning my database project as mentioned in this
editions section, and also answering the problem i set you.
Incedently if you have any problems with any of our projects
then please don't hesitate to get in touch with me here at WAC
HQ.
Anyway back to business. We will also have reviews on C.R.A.F.T and
the 'Ultimate AMOS' book written by resident Amiga Format AMOSer
Jason Holborn. As you may or may not know that C.R.A.F.T is a new
extension brought to you by Black Legend Software which brings 160
new commands to AMOS. The C.R.A.F.T initials may give you some
idea of what will be covered in this new extension. Let me tell
you what they are:
Colours, Requester, Audio, Fractals and Turtle
Read the review in the next edition of the new and exciting Whitby
AMOS Club.
What else have we got? Well how about a section for advanced
programmers? We will cover things such as Amal, Bob and Sprites,
Requestors, Fractals and anything else we have time to fit in.
Again if you have any problems with this then you know where to
contact us.
I would also like to start a AMOS chart next month. All i want you
to is send to me the name of your favourite AMOS program and we will
see what you are all programming/using. Also send in what you are
using AMOS for. Are you programming the next project x? Or are you
writing the next Wordsworth Word Processor? Send the list in and
lets show the world what AMOS is mainly used for.
Also next month i'll be starting a letters page. So if you want
to get something of your chest then please write in and lets
discuss it with others. Any suggestions for the title of our
letters page? Best one will be used and the winner will get
a prize of some sort.
Also there will be a technical section where you can write to
me with your problems, and i will help to try and sort them
out. Plus more usefull source code, graphics and music.
If your lucky, you may(disk space permitting) get one final
sample story from the "Dark Portal" story disk. I will try
and fit as much as possible on each disk.
Also look out for our new mega groovy magazine driver. It will
knock your socks off with its presentation an fluidness.
So until next month. Bye
(Paul Gumsley)
